Good Publishing Guide
Inspirational note on starting drafts
Below are some ideas and thoughts related with publishing. These are some ways that publishing can be done. These are just guides and you may not be limited to any of these. This would be rather the starting point. We hope you get some ideas after reading this.
Samuel Johnson: “The two most engaging powers of an author are to make new things familiar, and familiar things new.”
If you haven’t read these two before, mind to do so.
Step 1: Collecting ideas and inspirations
Before all the beautiful typography and stunning photos, the quality of idea and thoughts should be right as it can be seen as the “bone” connecting the others. So we suggest you to spend some time to form and organize your ideas before starting your writing.
1. Setup, update your topic list and raise your antenna
What is your interest? What stories you are looking for to share?
2. Do bookmarking everywhere - in your browser and on SNS
These are the inputs where you can start. Since we tend to forget things quickly as time goes by, it is a good practice to keep them in record to revisit later.
3. Find coherent motif or theme by seeing things differently
Why do we always have to think that clothes should be in the Fashion category? Does yellow has to be in Fashion or in Design? It can be interconnected in music, science, or any other areas that one thinks is relative with. We suggest you to have sharp observations and more curiosity, which will help curating things in different ways.
4. Capture the essence and focus on expressing them when publishing
Select parts of the original contents to make a new remix. Try to deliver the impression that you had to the audience/public.

Step 2: When you publish
Keep anything in draft and never be bothered
Things in [Drafts] are only kept to you and no one can see them. So feel free to dump anything from your mind to edit and publish it later.
What are the document conditions?
These are things that characterize the type of contents that you are publishing. You can add short URL as hashtags, keywords to help our system interconnect with others.
body content type
The default form is set as article, which support most of HTML markups. You can make slideshow, audio playlist or collection of web links by selecting Slides, AV Playlist, and cPage(compilation or curation Page) respectively.
In body, you can directly edit html source
Select <img src=”>, then click source to edit directly.
Don’t forget to mention the origin if any
If you copied your contents from the web, don’t forget to add the origin URL as appreciation to the original. If you are not sure of the copyright status, please contact us for help. If you know a content is not allowed to be copied, you can still mention is as a reference using the cPage format- mentioning it as a small part of the big pool is acceptable (not copyright infringement).
